BAKGROUND AND MOTIVATION
In Hastekasen Farm Association application for EVS 2014-2015 we declared our intention of forming strategic partnerships and including a youth exchange with more focus on inclusion.
Our association is now ready for this.
Hastekasen Farm Association participated during 2014 with two leaders  in an Erasmus+ seminar organized by AK Ruckenwind. The intention was to form several long term partnerships as well as developing quality standards for projects.
This has led us to design this project, involving partners from this meeting and following the ambitions of inclusion declared on the seminar.

Our motivation is based on three aspects:
- Inclusion, our organization has up to now not felt mature enough for the challenge of real inclusion when it comes to selection of participants. Thanks to our previous projects and the partnership with AK Ruckenwind, we are now ready for this.
- The place - our association has developed a lot during the two last years (partly because of Erasmus projects), both with leaders, skills and logistics. We feel that our concept evolving around a farm where project participants “live, work and play” on the same location is quite unique and leads to positive impact on a personal level. Our day-to-day activities in the growing ecovillage interacts well with added projects, benefiting all parties involved.
- Our "staff" - new leaders have joined the projects. Especially for this short project two former EVS volunteers has decided to join the association and continue as project leaders, and taking an active role designing this project, using their own experiences from seeing Erasmus+ from the "inside".

BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE

Hastekasen Farm Association was formed 2010 with the aim of creating an ecovillage and a training centre. Our theme is Sustainable ruralisation. Our main goal is being part of inhabiting the countryside and while doing so being an example for others and sharing our experience.
Our activities include small scale ecological farming and building with natures resources. We also deal with nature awareness and adventure activities in nature, as part of self development.
The experience and skills one gets at Hastekasen farm Association (HFA) will empower the visitor.
There are no employees running the operations but a group of 4-10 people (depending on season) maintaining and developing the projects. On top of this there are around 100-200 visitors annually that join the activities and can be seen as members.
HFA as an increasing network locally, regionally, nationally and internationally.
